MEET THE FOUNDER
I'm Kiki — also known as Kristie Jorfald, founder of Tour de Chic. Kiki is the nickname my family has called me for years. It's the version of myself that feels most at home, and the one I hope you'll come to know.
My career began at the highest levels of fashion publishing — interning with Hearst Corporation across both CosmoGIRL! in New York and TEEN Magazine in Los Angeles, where I assisted fashion teams on photo shoots, market appointments, and live television segments for KTLA Morning News.
From there I moved into editorial styling at Paper Magazine in Los Angeles, working with talent including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Anna Kendrick, and Sarah Hyland, before joining the team on the Emmy-nominated Style Network series How Do I Look? — one of the most demanding and rewarding experiences of my early career.
It was also during these years that I had the extraordinary privilege of styling Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, and P!nk. From the crew on set to the iconic talent I had the privilege of meeting — I am so lucky to have crossed paths with so many truly exceptional individuals. Those experiences shaped the way I show up for every client today.
Over the course of more than two decades, I've had the privilege of working at the intersection of fashion, media, luxury, and travel — building a body of work that spans network television, luxury fashion houses, professional athletics, and destination campaigns.
My training includes an immersive tenure with Burberry's Private Client department, where I developed an intimate understanding of luxury craftsmanship, bespoke client service, and the art of dressing with true intention.
I was commissioned by CBS News Chicago to recreate the station's on-camera dress code policy — working one on one with their top ten on-air reporters to ensure every anchor showed up with presence, polish, and visual authority on screen. It was demanding, precise, high-stakes work and one of the most formative experiences of my career.
Most recently, I had the honor of being selected by Visit Palm Springs to style both their summer and fall destination campaigns — a natural extension of my work at the intersection of travel and fashion.
I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and bring that same commitment to education, precision, and intentionality to every client experience.
Long before I became a stylist, I was shaped by a life between cultures. Raised by my Colombian-Swiss mother and Norwegian-English father, I grew up with citizenship in Switzerland, Norway, and the United States — speaking Spanish, English, and French from an early age.
Travel was never just a luxury in our family. It was a way of life. My father raised us with a simple but powerful belief — that wherever we went, how we showed up mattered. That philosophy has shaped not only the way I travel, but the way I serve every client today.
Tour de Chic is my luxury travel fashion styling concierge — built for global jet-setters who understand that how you arrive matters as much as where you're going.
